Well Sue has completed her second Iditarod running the awesome puppies from Happy Trails.
The trip got 8 puppies to Nome who will be the future stars running for Martin in years to come.
Am sure Sue will be posting soon after she gets home; she is still in Nome and should be
getting a flight home tomorrow. A HUGE thank you to all those folks who have
volunteered over the last year to make this all possible. I have said it before and it is worth repeating:

No one gets to the start or FINISH
line alone, it takes a lot of help from a lot of people. THANK YOU!!

Will be heading to Nome on the 0600 flight tomorrow. Should be interesting
seeing the Busers and some of the other folks we know that ran this year.
KK is going with which will really be a be help taking care of all the dogs
once Sue makes it under the arch; any guesses as to when that will be???

Just got a call from Julia who has volunteered to pick up any dogs that
Sue has to drop. Sue is now running 13 (after leaving Cripple); and the
latest two to catch a ride back are Mink and Yosemite. No word yet on
why they were dropped. Check back for that info after Julia picks them up.

Sue left Skwentna right on time this morning. For those wondering about
the teams speed; this is a puppy team and the plan is to run fast and
rest long.
2008Mar03 : Day 2
The Willow restart went GREAT!

Thanks to so many folks: no one gets to the start line of Iditaord alone!

I did not take any pictures but numerouse people we know did and when I
get copies will post them here.

Checker here for the current standings.

The Anchorage start went very well. Sue ran 12 dogs which is the limit for
the cerimonal start. Everything is now packed for the real start which is
tomorrow. Thanks for out handlers: Matt, Craig, Fred, Fran, Tony, D, Tom,
KK, Mike, Ellen.

Sues iditarider, Stehphinei was great; I think she enjoyed the experience!
