Canon on the way up

Like 2008 Sue will be running a group of young dogs that belong to Martin & Kathy Buser, aka Happy Trails Kennels

This was Kims 8th year of being the individual money collector for TdC, one more bike for Kim to give away to someone who nees it!!

As you can see from the photo a perfect day to be out riding a bike!!

Sue is visiting Fred, Fran and siblings this week in Binghamton.

The weather was great! Canon and crew got to play around the house with all the bright sun. Rode the bike over to Big Lake today; Sue is going to take it into town tomorrow, my de-railer needs a bit of work.

I talked about having diabetes, a kidney transplant, being legally blind, etc. Also told them that I might not have as many or as severe issues had I taken better care of my blood sugar when I was their age.

The two points that I think made the largest impact were the fact that I do not drive. They are all ready to get the drivers license. The other was the fact that if they choose to not get any exercise and choose to eat too much than they may be choosing to get type II diabetes and may bo choosing to get a number of the same troubles that I have.

It was amazing about many kids raised their hands when asked about diabetes in their family. Well over half.

Hoping at least a few of them will consider making better choices that sitting in front of the TV and eating chips/cookies all night!!

The other day Sue found the camera while raking. I took out the battery,recharged and it works. If you are not using a Canon, why?
